Autobiography

I, Sholpan Bilashevna Gumarova, graduated from the Almaty Institute of Foreign Languages in 1979. Since October 1992, I have been working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages and conduct classes for undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. I am a co-author of scientific articles indexed in the Scopus and Thomson Reuters databases, as well as publications in KCSOES of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the Bulletin. My articles have been published in conference proceedings, and I am a co-author of methodological materials on English for students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology and the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, as well as numerous image-building articles. I regularly enhance my qualifications by attending seminars organized by TEA, the British Council, and participating in scientific and practical conferences hosted by universities in Kazakhstan and abroad. In 2010, I was awarded the "Best Lecturer of KazNU" grant. I actively engage in events related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology and participate in organizing and conducting conferences for undergraduates and graduate students, English language evenings, discussions, and competitions. Additionally, I am an accredited administrator of the TOEFL center at KazNU.
